Our Accommodation At Gilsland Park

Gilsland offers a range of accommodation; Our Gold Caravans sleep up to 8 people and all benefit from patio doors opening to a large sun deck with outside furniture, ideal for soaking up those views. Our luxurious 3 bedroomed Hot Tub Lodges - are just that large and luxurious as well as offering the best views on the park. The small but perfectly formed Superior Studio also includes a hot tub and the perfect getaway for a couple. And last but not least, there is a wide range of Glamping options - some with their own ensuite toilet and shower facilities and some without. Those without, however, do have access to our brand new five-star toilet and shower block as well as a well-equipped camp kitchen.

The family studios are perfect for those holidaying as a small family group, for lone travelers or for couples. These units comprise 1 room which encompasses the living, sleeping, and eating areas. They also open out to your own decking area which is the perfect place to relax in the good weather. For your ease of use and privacy, these units have their very own toilet and shower so no outside trips to the toilet block in the middle of the night! Small and Compact they are more economic than the larger Holiday Homes and Lodges.

The Puffling is our fully equipped self-contained studio apartment, it’s perfect for that couples getaway. The Hot Tub is the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring the countryside.  Perfect either for an action-packed cycling/outdoor adventure or a more relaxing weekend break.

The Puffling comes equipped with a lounge area with a pull-down double bed (linen & towels provided), a TV, and a DVD player.  A kitchenette, fridge, and microwave, and it's very own toilet and shower room. The large decking area has fantastic open views, great for the photos!

Fully fitted with all the mod cons, our Caravan Holiday Homes provide you with a hassle-free home from home. We have both 2 bedroomed holiday homes, sleeping 6 and 3 bedroomed holiday homes, sleeping up to 8 are available.  All the holiday homes also have large sun decks with outside furniture where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the fresh air and views.

Our 2 bedroomed holiday homes have a Master bedroom with a Kingsize bed and a twin bedroom and some not only have a shower but also a bath - great for the wee ones who don’t like the water in their eyes!  Our three bedroomed holiday homes have a double bed and 2 twin rooms.

Luxury self-catering lodges each with their very own Hot Tub! With three double bedrooms, our lodges sleep up to six adults and provide the perfect base for a family holiday or golfing getaway.  

Two comfy sofas, a traditional cream electric stove, and a wooden coffee table trunk makes the Lounge in the Lodge the perfect place for putting your feet up after an invigorating day exploring the beaches and countryside of East Lothian. The cushioned armchair set in the corner is the perfect place to get lost in a book or simply sit, French doors wide open, and enjoy views of the Firth of Forth and beyond to the Lomond Hills.

The large open plan dining room beckons family and friends to gather around enjoying a home-cooked feast followed by a game of monopoly or trivial pursuit.  With its rustic cedar clad wall the kitchen is not only beautiful but also sociable and fully equipped to cater to a romantic meal for two or a full-on family feast.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside cabinets, and a dressing table, a walkthrough wardrobe leading to the ensuite shower room.  The second and third bedrooms are fitted with two single 3' wooden bedsteads, bedside tables and wardrobes.  Please request at the time of booking how you would like the 3rd bedroom made up - choose from 2 x twins or a king-size bed. The family bathroom has a full-sized bath with a shower where you can soak and relax.

Our new glamping cabins, sleep 5, and allow all the fun and freedom of camping but with a bit more luxury. The glamping units are fully insulated with heating, electricity, TV and DVD player, a kettle and a fridge.  You will also have access to our toilet/shower block and camp kitchen.
In the new Glamping area we hope to have incorporated all the elements that people have told us they like about Glamping; fantastic, spacious units built for purpose, 5* toilet, and shower facilities, and additional space in terms of a camp kitchen for when the weather isn't so kind.  But most of all, the setting and space are social, open, relaxed, and friendly.  Where adults can relax, kick back, and enjoy watching the kids getting back to being kids!  To this end, the new glamping area is sheltered and set overlooking the fields and countryside of East Lothian.  Not only that, but it is a CAR FREE ZONE allowing a safe, green space for children to play.
